There are two telehealth vendors partnering with HealthJoy. Please select the prompts based on your telehealth provider.
Steps on how to submit a virtual consultation through the HealthJoy app powered by MeMD:
1) Open the Main Menu and select "Talk to a Care Provider."
2) Choose "Talk to a Medical Provider" and click "Get Started" (or "Talk to a Therapist" if available).
3) Select the patient, verify the callback number, choose your state, and click "Continue."
4) Enter the reason for the consultation and add any pictures that can be useful during it, then click "Continue."
5) List medications, allergies, and conditions, then click "Continue."
6) Choose your pharmacy for any prescriptions.
7) Review your information, submit the consult, and agree to the terms.
You’ll get a call within the next hour from a MeMD Care Coordinator regarding your requested consultation to finalize details and arrange the provider call. For a video consultation, request this during the call with the MeMD Care Coordinator. Please be aware that video consultation setup may take longer than for a phone consultation. Telehealth consultations via chat are impossible at this moment.

To access Teladoc Telehealth for the first time via the HealthJoy app, you will need to register with Teladoc if you haven't already done so.
After you sign up to Teladoc, the “Start a Consult” button will become available in the “Talk to a Medical Provider” section on the Home page or in the “Telemedicine” button in the Benefits Wallet
.
Once selected you will be redirected to the scheduling menu and here is step-by-step guidance on how to proceed with Teladoc Health virtual consultation appointment scheduling:
1) Select the patient the service is needed for and you will receive a pop-up request to submit a medical history;
2) Once done, the list of all available services will appear. Press on the type of visit needed;
3) Set up the most convenient appointment time and press "Done";
4) All set! Follow the prompts in the confirmation letter.
If you have requested a scheduled consultation, please enter the waiting room on the day and time you have requested. for the "on-demand" request you will receive a text or email notification indicating the visit is about to start.
You can always view the results of your consultation in your HealthJoy Inbox.
In case, the virtual consultation is not necessary anymore and you would like to cancel your virtual appointment please let us know and we will contact the provider on your behalf.
