How do I log into my HealthJoy account?

When you first open the HealthJoy app, you’ll be greeted by the login screen. Just enter either the unique email address (usually it is your work email) or the 9-digit phone number associated with your account.

You can choose an option to receive a “Magic Link” via text message or email for a convenient login, or you can manually log in by entering your password.

Lost your activation link? 🔗 Click “Sign up” to request a unique activation link.
How do I log out of my HealthJoy account?
1. Tap "Profile" in the bottom right to open your profile page.
2. Tap "Settings"
3. Tap "Log Out" and then "Yes" to log out of the app or tap "No" to stay logged in.
How do I reset or change my password?
If you need to change or reset your password, you can do so by following these steps:
1. Log out of your HealthJoy account by visiting your Profile page -> "Settings" and clicking on the “Log Out” button.
2. After logging out, you'll be taken to the login screen where you can enter your email or phone number. From there, you have the option to receive a text message or email with a "Magic Link" which will log you into the app. Alternatively, you can select "Enter Your Password" to log in manually.
3. To reset your password, select “Reset Your Password”. You will then be prompted to enter your account email address or phone number, and you’ll be sent a link to create a new password.

I need help understanding my plan benefits, what can I do?

Simply select "Chat" from the main menu, and you'll be connected to a Healthcare Concierge ready to answer all your questions.

Are my deductible and out-of-pocket expenses real-time?

No, HealthJoy uses a third-party service to connect with many insurance plans across the country. The displayed data is not real-time and is usually slightly delayed.

The explanation is simple: most medical insurance claims aren't processed instantly either, and it may also take some time to update the information regarding deductible contributions, which are provided to third-party companies.

For the most up-to-date data, select "My Benefits" in the "Chat" section, then click on "I want to know how close I am to meet my deductible". One of our concierges will contact your insurance carrier directly to verify the requested information.

You can also visit your insurance carrier's portal to check deductible contributions, benefits information, claims, and much more.
How can I access my plan benefits?

You can access your medical insurance plan benefits right from the profile page. This will contain information about your deductible and out-of-pocket limits, the cost of medical visits, procedures, prescriptions, and much more.

Additionally, you can review vision, dental, and other employee benefits in HealthJoy Benefits Wallet. Each benefits card will contain web links to each benefit carrier. Please note, you’ll still need account login credentials to access those services directly.

What are the benefits of using the app versus a phone?

Using the HealthJoy app is the preferred method of accessing our service.

You’ll have access to all your up-to-date benefits within your Benefits Wallet , year after year.

You’ll also be able to conduct video consultations with medical providers (required by some states for online visits) right within the app.

You’ll have historical access to all your chat logs and Inbox cards, for a more transparent look at your usage.

You can also make requests 24 hours a day when our live concierge desk is closed and have your request answered first in the queue. In these days of an on-demand world, our app is the ideal experience.

How do I change my phone number, email and mailing address?

You can change both your phone number and email on file from the HealthJoy app.

Just select “Profile” , then click on "Personal Information" and tap on the information you need to change.

In case you want to change your mailing address - please contact your HR department and request them to change this information in the latest eligibility file. Once we receive it - your address will be updated automatically.
My name is misspelled. How do I correct it?

To err is human.

The list of names is provided to us by your company, but don’t worry; we can fix it in a jiffy 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️.

Just select “Profile” and tap “Feedback,” then indicate your issue in the category “Personal data and eligibility issues.”

Additionally, do not forget to reach out to your company’s HR department to make sure your name is also updated with your insurance carrier.
How do I update my medical/dental/vision plan information?

Any plan changes must go through your company’s HR or benefits team.

HealthJoy only houses the information provided by your employer. If you notice discrepancies in your plan benefits, submit feedback through your profile by selecting “Profile” then tapping “Feedback”. Submit your feedback in the category “Personal data and eligibility issues”.

You may also chat with a concierge for assistance. Please note that plans not included in your employer's benefits package won't be added to your plan profile. However, our concierge will make every effort to assist you (some carriers are easier to work with than others).
