HealthJoy has partnered with two leading telehealth providers, Teladoc and MeMD, to offer users easy access to a comprehensive virtual care suite.

You can schedule an appointment with the telehealth provider any time you are experiencing non-emergency health issues like colds, flu, diarrhea, sinus infections, and allergies. With convenient options available, you can get the support you need without leaving home. Prescriptions can also be sent directly to your pharmacy for quick pickup.

When scheduling an appointment, the estimated wait time for a virtual consultation is typically up to 24 hours, so you can expect to receive a call the same day. Still, the actual wait times may vary based on provider availability and demand.

Please note that telehealth consultations via chat are not available at this time. This means that all virtual consultations will be conducted through phone or video calls, ensuring a more interactive and personalized experience with healthcare providers.

It's important to understand the limitations of telemedicine services. Providers cannot prescribe controlled substances, treat psychiatric conditions, or offer lifestyle medications. Additionally, they may not be able to issue work or school excuse notes. Their services primarily focus on general medical care and the treatment of common conditions.
