Yes! While we cannot guarantee that a medical provider will issue a prescription, it's always on a case-by-case basis, they can do so when it's medically necessary. Ultimately, it's up to the provider to determine the best course of treatment for any given issue.
It's also important to note ✍ that our medical partners, Walmart Health and Teladoc, do not issue prescriptions for controlled substances as defined by the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration), elective medications, or "lifestyle" drugs for erectile dysfunction, hair loss, obesity, anxiety, or depression.
Please keep in mind that this service is not a replacement for your primary care physician and we are not an online pharmacy. Any prescriptions issued to members will be electronically sent to a local pharmacy for pick-up and purchase.
