What is 401k and how do I connect it to the Benefits Wallet?

A 401(k) is a retirement savings plan offered by employers where employees can contribute part of their pre-tax income into an investment account. Employers may also match contributions to help employees save for retirement.

Upon selecting the 'Benefits Wallet' tab in the HealthJoy application, you may see a Financial Card that allows you to connect your 401k.

Connecting an account is optional, but it will enable you to access this information quickly without leaving the app. Your 401k account is linked to the individual and does not get shared across your family accounts.

1. Tap on 'Benefits Wallet'
2. Tap “Your Financial Accounts”
3. Choose “Connect Accounts”
4. Click “Continue”
5. Enter your phone number
6. Choose your financial institution
7. Sign in to your financial institution and follow the prompts to connect your account
